Starfall was an interactive laser installation created for ArtPrize 9 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Lasers sculptures were placed on the top of three different buildings overlooking the Grand River in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. Two large 'Power Gem' sculptures were positioned at the JW Marriot that were accessible to the public. Each laser was made sound active and responded to a CB radio placed inside the sculpture. The sculptures accessible to the public featured microphones that allowed you to activate the remote lasers.
