This project began with the insight of what brought people to my neighborhood. My urban setting is used by photographers because of the different backdrops available, such as graffiti, urban decay, cityscape, railroad tracks etc. As a photographer myself, I chose to improve a wall with north light and a banal brick facade. I strove to diversify the neighborhood's styles by adding a geometric pattern with an emphasis on color. My goal was to provide a place that photographer's would use as an urban backdrop. Since it was finished it has been very successful and has shown up in engagement shoots to ad campaigns.

I took these images of people in my neighborhood during ArtPrizeĀ® 2009.
